Using Cat-A-Logue
Cat-A-Logue is provided by Project Horizon. By using the app or community service, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian for permission where appropriate.
Cat-A-Logue lets you photograph and collect cats, explore community posts and use other features we make available. You are responsible for using the app lawfully and respectfully.
Be kind, to cats and people
- Do not disturb, chase, feed without permission, harm or take any cat. Photograph from a respectful distance.
- Do not enter private property without permission or put yourself or anyone else in danger.
- Only share photos and information you have permission to use. Do not post private addresses, sensitive information or other people’s personal details without permission.
- Do not post unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive or harmful content, impersonate someone, spam the community or attempt to interfere with the service.
When you add a catch, the post and its approximate location appear publicly in the community feed and on the map. Keep that in mind before sharing.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and other content you submit. You give Project Horizon a non-exclusive permission to store, process, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate, moderate, maintain and promote the features of Cat-A-Logue. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to post it. You can remove your public posts through the app.
Your profile
The app creates a community profile and stores access information on your device. Keep your device and backups secure. Display names are not unique. If you lose access to your device or access information, profile recovery may not be possible.
You can delete your community profile in the app’s settings or request deletion through our account deletion information.
Reports and moderation
You can report content or users through the app. We may review reports and remove content, restrict access or suspend profiles when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect the community or comply with the law. You can contact us if you believe we made a mistake.
Availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted or be unavailable, including when we maintain the service. Cat detection and background removal are automated and can make mistakes. The map displays approximate information and should not be relied on for precise locations, navigation or safety.
We may update these terms when the service changes. We will publish the updated version here and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continuing to use the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept them where applicable law permits.
Legal details
We provide the service with reasonable care, but cannot promise it will always be error-free or available. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
